How dare anyone sexually objectify Ms Judd by calling her "hottie of the week!" (She may not be "hottie of the week" but she does have nice tits, however. Rod)

Ashley Judd in Nashville to rally for "no-on-one."

Ashley Judd
Hollywood actress  Ashley Judd was in Nashville again yesterday headlining an afternoon rally for opponents of  amendment 1.  The event was at Event Space on Chestnut Street and was attended by about 100 people. (link)

Ashley Judd is a frequent visitor in Nashville and often holds fund raisers for liberals such as she did this summer for Jeff Yarbro who is running for the State Senate in District 21 against Republican Diana Cuellar.

Ms Judd often campaigns for what are sometimes called "women's" issues. She claims she was a three-time rape survivor and childhood victim of incest. She has also claimed she was the victim of "egregious sexual harassment” in Hollywood.  She has stared in several movie that featured nudity and soft core sex scenes.  She was a 2012 Tennessee delegate to the National Democrat Party convention.

Amendment one would allow the state legislature to pass reasonable regulations to regulate the abortion industry.  The pro-abortion forces from across the nation have poured money into Tennessee to defeat amendment one outspending the pro-amendment one forces about four-to-one. .  Abortion is protected as a constitutional right due to the Supreme Court decision in Roe vs wade and is virtually unregulated in Tennessee and Tennessee has become an abortion destination state. Amendment one would not ban abortion but would permit the same level of regulation as in other states. To read more about Amendment one follow http://www.yeson1tn.org/.

Ashley Judd says she was a victim of Sexual Harassment in Hollywood

Ashley Judd
Ashley Judd, the Hollywood actress and liberal activist who last year was threatening to move from Kentucky to Tennessee to run against Lamar Alexander and who then considered running against Mitch McConnell in Kentucky and who occasionally makes forays into Tennessee to support liberals such she did when she attended a fund raiser for Jeff Yarbro, recently sounded off about being a victim of sexual harassment and the misogyny she's encountered in Hollywood.

According to the Huffington Post: "She also recounted numerous times she received "sexually charged" comments from producers and fell victim to "egregious sexual harassment" from a "famous movie mogul." Judd told Virtel that, despite being a well-versed women's studies minor, it wasn't until years later when her and other actors traded similar stories of this man's inappropriate behavior that she realized it was sexual harassment."

Ashley Judd is staring in a "faith and family friendly film."

Ashley Judd
In case you missed it, Ashley Judd is staring in a "faith and family friendly film," titled The Identical. I guess a good actress can go from soft porn to soft religious faith and family-friendly movies with ease.
The Identical tells the story of twin brothers unknowingly separated at birth during the Great Depression.  Ashley Judd play the wife of a preacher. The preacher and wife  adopted a son who is gifted and called by God to be a preacher but he gets sidetracked into a life of rock and roll. Follow this link to learn more about the movie.
Ashley Judd is a Democrat Party activist who at one time considered moving from Kentucky to Tennessee to run for the Senate from Tennessee.  She recently hosted a fund raiser for Democrat candidate Jeff Yarbro who is running for a State Senate seat.

Ashley Judd makes pitch for Jeff Yarbro at fundraiser

Ashley Judd
by Michael Cass, The Tennessean, May 28, 2014 - Williamson County's most famous Democrat ventured up Interstate 65 on Wednesday to help a Nashville candidate who's looking to hold on to one of the party's few seats in the state Senate.

Calling herself a "district interloper," actress-activist Ashley Judd spoke at a fundraiser for Jeff Yarbro, who's running against Mary Mancini for the Democratic nomination in Senate District 21. Sen. Douglas Henry, a Democrat who is retiring, has represented the district since 1971.

Judd said she first met Yarbro, an attorney who nearly defeated Henry in the 2010 primary, on the way home from the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., where she was a Tennessee delegate. (link)

Ashley Judd’s history of bizarre comments

Ashley Judd
Ashley Judd keeps being mentioned as a candidate for Senate, either here in Tennessee or in neighboring Kentucky.  It looks more and more like she will run in Kentucky in an attempt to unseat Mitch McConnell. I may be surprised, but I just do not see her being elected. She is way outside the mainstream. The article below exposes some of her weird positions. The picture to the left exposes her biggest career assets but I am not sure that contributes to her political resume. Rod

Ashley Judd’s biggest problem: Her history of bizarre comments

She has spoken out against having kids, saying it is “unconscionable to breed” while there are so many starving children in the world.

She has criticized the tradition of fathers “giving away” their daughters at weddings, calling that practice “a common vestige of male dominion over a woman’s reproductive status.”

She has even compared mountaintop removal mining to the Rwandan genocide, and has criticized Christianity as a religion that “legitimizes and seals male power. (keep reading)

Ashley Judd exploring Senate run

Ashley Judd
The Hollywood movie star and eighth-generation Kentuckian is seriously exploring a 2014 run for the Senate to take on the powerful Republican leader, four people familiar with the matter tell POLITICO.

In recent weeks, Judd has spoken with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) about the possibility of a run, has discussed a potential bid with a Democratic pollster and has begun to conduct opposition research on herself to see where she’s most vulnerable.....(link)

Ashley Judd says DesJarlais an embarrassment, should withdraw from race

DesJarlais should withdraw from race
by Ashley Judd, The Tennessean, November 2, 2012

Ashley Judd

We Tennesseans have sent many principled politicians from both sides of the aisle to Washington; they have served with honor and integrity. We vote for our leaders for different reasons, but, universally, we expect our candidates to be who they say they are, to be truthful, and we share a bottom-line expectation they won’t be an embarrassment to our state or a national spectacle.
