Bellevue Breakfast Club - Dec. 3rd. "The elections and how the Republican Party moves forward."

From Lonnie Spivak:

Lonnie Spivak
Greetings Breakfast Club Members,

Looks like our desire for a Red Wave was met with near disaster, as we wrap up the mid-term elections. The GOP has failed to take the Senate, and has the slimmest of majorities in the House.

This month, I will be leading the conversation regarding the elections and how the Republican Party moves forward in Davidson County and nationally. Touch on Donald Trump's announcement and next year's Metro elections. This will be a lively discussion as we look forward to 2024.

Please join me as we meet our our normal location, Plantation Pub. Located at 8321 Sawyer Brown Rd, Nashville, 37221. Our meeting will begin on Saturday, December 3rd, at 8:30 am.

Congratulations to Congressman Elect Andy Ogles, Rep. Dr. Mark Green on their victories. And a special thank you to Michelle Foreman, who ran one heck of a race, but came up a little short election day.

Have a great Thanksgiving,

Lonnie

Southeast Nashville Conservatives' Breakfast speaker will be Mae Beavers

From Robert Duvall

To all:

Just quick note related to our meeting this coming Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Shoney’s, at the intersection of Thompson Lane &  Nolensville Road. Please make an extra effort to be there as Senator Mae Beavers will be present and deliver our Keynote address.

Mae will not be able to stay, so our new DCRP Chairman, Melissa Smithson will fill our remaining time with updates on the County Party and upcoming elections.

This will be a great opportunity to meet Mae in person. Please take advantage of such a kind jester as being candidate for Governor can consume all your time and this may be the only chance we get to meet with Mae in person.

Blessing to all, Robert Duvall & Pat Carl

From Betty Hood, Chair of the Bellevue Republican Breakfast Club:

Dear BRBC Friends,

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!!  Fox News did a meaningful tribute to our fallen heroes.

For those who missed the May breakfast club, Ben Cunningham was unable to be with us due to health issues.  He was kind enough to send us Mark Skoda who kept us thoroughly entertained.  Now Ben is feeling much better and will be with us this Saturday at 8 am.  The address is River Art Studio, 8329 Sawyer Brown Rd which is next to the Plantation Pub in River Plantation.  For those who worked the Victory Headquarters for Romney and Ryan in 2012, this is the same place.

Hope to see you Saturday,
Betty

Caffeinated Conservatives meets Sat. March 18th. Guest Shawn Hatmaker, Field Director of Americans For Prosperity

From Caffeinated Conservatives:

We have the pleasure of announcing that next Saturday our speaker will be Shawn Hatmaker, Field Director of Americans For Prosperity.

AFP says, "We protect the American Dream by fighting each day for lower taxes, less government regulation and economic prosperity for all.  There are over 3,200,000 of us, and we're active in your neighborhood."

Shawn previously worked as a legislative assistant to Representative Timothy Hill.  In that role and his current role with AFP, Shawn has a wealth of knowledge about the legislative process.  With the gas tax discussion that is going on now within the General Assembly, his talk with us will be particularly timely.

Look forward to seeing you:

From: Kevin Laura Baigert <andtimber2@gmail.com

Subject: CAFFEINATED CONSERVATIVES - Sat., December 17, noon to 2
To:

Hi All,

Heard you had a good meeting and some newcomers to the last meeting.  Sorry we missed it.  But, we're back for the next meeting with guest speaker, Jeff Hartline.

For those of you who don't know Jeff, he is involved in so many things it's hard to imagine how he gets it all done.  On top of a "day job," Jeff is the Field Director for Tennessee Firearms Association.  Jeff also spends a lot of time and is very influential at Legislative Plaza and writes an online newspaper called Tennessee Leaders (tennesseeleaders.com).  Jeff is a lover of liberty and history and is very well read on those (and probably other) subjects.

It should be an exciting discussion!

We're also going to have a special presentation.  Hope to see you there.

Caffinated Conservatives meets Saturday, Oct. 28th, Noon to 2PM

Hi All,

Hope this email finds you all well and enjoying this amazing fall weather.

It's obviously been too long since we got together, and we apologize for that.  A couple of speakers fell through and there were some conflicts with the dates.

We are hoping that you all missed getting together as much as we have.  We still don't have a speaker, but with everything that has been going on, there is much to talk about including how everyone would like to see Caffeinated Conservatives going forward.  We've spoken to a few of you who were hoping for a revival.  And Chuck is ready, willing and pleased to host us.

Hope to see you there. Saturday, October 28 from 12 noon to 2.  Uncommon Grounds, 1053 Donelson Ave, Old Hickory 37138

Meetup of "The Right Alternative," this Friday, Oct. 14.

If  I were starting a conservative group, I would not name it "Alt Right."  That term has been used to describe unsavory far right elements of the political spectrum.  I attended my first meeting of this group with a little trepidation but I met the organizer and the other people who attended the first meetup and this is a harmless little discussion group of conservatives who are basically fed up with political correctness and being shamed into silence by the liberal establishment; no skinhead, no racist - you might think of them as normal people who Hillary calls "the deplorables."

I am going to attend my second meeting of the group, which will be the group's third meeting.  Please Join us. Here is information from the Meetup page of the group.

  • Friday, October 14, 2016 5:00 PM to

  • Peg Leg Porker 903 Gleaves St, Nashville., Nashville, TN (map)

 What Is the Alt Right?
  • What is the Alt Right? I imagine some folks might be a little afraid, given that the mainstream media labels us some kind of Army of Darkness.
(I must admit, I actualy rather like the title.)
So, I thought we might discuss when I get back to the States.
Here is a little snippet from Milo Yiannopolis, as he deftly handles leftist accusations of racism, sexism, and homophobia: https://youtu.be/Lgl53EXInPc.
The Alt Right is none of these things - keep in mind that Milo is a gay Jewish dude. We're just not afraid of calling the left on its ridiculous shenanigans, and we have zero tolerance for PC dogma.
And we know what the left does when it sees something it is scared of: label it evil!
Let's get a beer or five and talk about it.
Will find a location for this after we figure out how many are coming.
Invite your friends! Hoping to see you folks there!
