Director of General Services, Nancy Whittemore presents the budget. General services submits a budget with a 2% reduction as requested and explains how services would be cut. Starting at 12:09 Ms Whittemore explains how efficiency has been increased to result in cost savings. Improvements have included cross training of employees and improves in contracting to cut cost. The difficulty of maintaining LEED certification is discussed. Flex vehicles, alternative fuels and the impact of the cost of gasoline is discussed.
