4th of July Nashville Freedom Rally

Tomorrow at 7 PM – 10 PM

Rally together to celebrate our country’s freedom!

On July 4, 1776 congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence. One year later, they celebrated their first anniversary of independence with festivities, salutes, cannons, church bells, and fireworks. We’ve celebrated this freedom every year in a similar fashion, though many of us have taken these liberties for granted. Many people sacrificed their lives and their fortunes to pay for the freedoms we have today. Freedom to choose our own government. Freedom to peaceably assemble. Freedom of speech. Freedom of religion. Freedom to bear arms. Freedom to own land and property.

Join us downtown on the streets of broadway as we exercise our 1st amendment right to peaceably assemble and celebrate our freedom.  (more info)

Rod's Comment: Apparently you do not need a permit to close streets and assemble masses of people in Nashville anymore. Just do it!

The city cancelled the 4th of July event with fireworks and entertainment, so we may not have the fireworks, but if the city does not stop the Black Lives Matter-Antifa-whatever-names-they-go-by groups from putting 10,000 people on lower Broadway, how can they stop us? I am going. It would be great if thousands would turn out. Civil disobedience and defiance is not just for leftist radicals. We will have rules or not have rules.
